Technical Product Manager

Description of Responsibilities:
The successful applicant will join our product management team and will work with the President and V.P. of Engineering in executing the company’s product strategy. The Technical Product Manager will be the unifying force behind the company’s strategy and execution, combining feedback from customers, executives, sales and development leads to define market requirements and lead the execution on new features and products. Top notch communication skills and a strong technical background are required.

More specifically the Technical Product Manager will:
- Work with the President and V.P. of Engineering to execute the product strategy
- Be aware of customer needs, complaints and requests, and the company’s competitive position and use this information to influence the development of the product
- Define user personas for individual products
- Manage information feed between product end users and developers
- Work with the development team to invent solutions to customer needs
- Write product requirements and use case scenarios
- Conduct technology assessment
- Work with the V.P. of Engineering to create and prioritize tasks/goals for the developers
- Maintain product launch plans, status dashboard and roadmap
- Create white papers, standard presentations and demo scripts for the various buyer personas
- Monitor and incorporate industry innovations • Analyze the competitive landscape
Requirements:
- 1 - 3 years working experience in a product management role in the technology industry
- Top notch written/oral communication and presentation skills
- University or College degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
- Competence in the design of user interfaces and dashboards
- Proven to be an adaptable and fast learner
- Knowledge of the casino industry is a significant asset
- Web development competence is an asset
Web Application Developer — Intermediate

Description of Responsibilities:
The successful applicant will join our core development team and will work with the V.P. of Software in designing and building the company’s business intelligence software products. The Web Application Developer will work closely with the core dev team on all stages of the product development lifecycle including concept, design, development, and optimization. He or she will be given significant creative freedom to contribute new feature ideas and bring them to market in working with the product manager and dev team.

More specifically the Web Application Developer will:
- Design and develop web based software modules and supporting user interface components
- Create intuitive user interface design that make complex data actionable to end users
- Collaborate with other team members in design and code reviews
- Work with the product manager to invent solutions to customer needs
- Communicate frequently with the VP of Software to ensure on-time delivery of quality software in line with business objectives
- Foster a culture of innovation and excellence by proposing and driving initiatives that enhance the company’s technology and internal processes
Requirements:
- University degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or related technical discipline
- 2-5 years experience with ASP.NET (C#), AJAX, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Action Script and/or Silverlight
- Be up-to-date on the latest web development technologies such as HTML5
- Solid understanding of functional and object oriented programming concepts and design patterns
- Familiarity with agile software practices
- Competence in the design of user interfaces and dashboards is an asset
- Experience with relational database programming, DirectX, OpenGL, Python, ASP.NET MVC is an asset
